As I stared at a blank canvas on stage, I heard this phrase from the Lord ‘I cultivate your heart.’
As I started thinking on this phrase, the significance began to be unwrapped.
I saw a picture of an anatomical heart symbolizing our own hearts. The golden hues signify our value in belonging to Him. The heart had roots that went deep underground. A tiny sprig had pushed its way through the soil.
The white hand reaching down symbolizes Jesus. He takes care of us and cares for our hearts. He tenderly cares for and and waters (John 7:37) our heart that it may grow in Righteousness. He is the gardner.
The roots draw nutrients from the soil. The soil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit who leads us into all Truth. The deep roots symbolize our life is rooted in Truth. (John 16:13) The brown hues symbolize humility, the yellows symbolize grace and yielding.
As I pondered this, I was reminded of John...
