I felt led the other day to create a painting for a local Portland auto repair shop. I delivered the painting today. The manager called his whole crew in to hear me explain it. This was my explanation... 'A Light in the Darkness', Acrylic on Canvas, 16 x 20 in.
God sees this business as a lighthouse to the city. Just as a lighthouse warns ships of rocky shores, and shines brightly in the darkness, Comfort Auto and Body is a light in this city.
The light that shines out of you is golden. It is a rare light in this city and is very attractive. Not only is it attractive, but it shines so very bright.
The way you treat your customers and work honestly honors God. God is pleased with your business.
You provide Hope to your customers amid the seemingly mundane daily work of car repair. You also provide comfort to your customers on many different levels. The Holy Spirit is known as the Comforter. You live up to your name sake equipped with the Holy Spirit to bring Hope to every customer that walks through your doors.
